The 1-st International Workshop on Network Traffic Control, Analysis and Applications (NTCAA-2009)
http://www-id.ktokai-u.ac.jp/ntcaa2009/
Jeju, Korea, December 10 - 12, 2009

In conjunction with The 2nd International Conference on Computer Science and its Applications
http://www.ftrg.org/CSA2009/

Scope:

Networks of today are getting very complex. Therefore, network traffic control and analysis are very important aspects that should be investigated. Alo, new paradigms for solving complex problems by enabling large-scale aggregation and sharing of computational, data and other geographically distributed resources are appearing. Now, new types of networks with different features and characteristics are integretaed together. These topics require the investigation of many issues such as effective harnessing of Internet connected resources, development of new methods and techniques, which offer users a transparent, efficient and secured access to resources, efficient allocation of resources, decentralization and self-organization. These issues present nowadays real challenges to the development of large distributed systems and applications. The aim of this workshop is to present innovative research, methods and techniques related to Network Traffic Control, Network Performance Analysis and Evaluation, Network Security, P2P, Ad-Hoc Networks, Sensor Networks and Internet computing.

The workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics.

Topics:

Important Dates:

Paper Submission Deadline : August 31, 2009
Acceptance Notification: September 15, 2009
Camera Ready Due: September 30, 2009
Conference Dates: December 10 - 12, 2009

Paper Submission and Publication:

Submission Guidelines:

Authors are invited to submit research and application papers following the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style: two columns, single-spaced, including figures and references, using 10 fonts, and number each page. You can confirm the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Author Guidelines at one of the following web pages:

http://www.computer.org/portal/site/cscps/

and then click on Information for Authors.

The papers should be 6 pages long. They will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. The papers should be submitted by e-mail to the Workshop Co-Chairs Takuo Nakashima (E-mail: taku@ktmail.tokai-u.jp) or Leonard Barolli (e-mail: barolli@fit.ac.jp).

Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance.

Proceedings of the Workshops will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press
